Albany, N.Y. and Bangor – Morris Sondon, 86, died Jan. 30 in Albany after a brief illness. He was born in Lithuania, the son of Solomon and Rose Sondon. He was the owner and operator of a local plumbing company in Albany for many years. He was an Army veteran of WW1. He is survived by two brothers, Sam Sondon of Bangor and Nathan Sondon of Uruguay; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wagner of Switzerland and Mrs. Celia Savchik of Uruguay; a niece, Rhoda Bernstein of Bangor; a nephew, Warren Sondon of Montreal, Canada, and other nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Beth Abraham Cemetery in Bangor. Rabbi Henry Isaacs officiating. Memorial week will be observed at 151 Lancaster Ave. Arrangements by Brookings-Smith.
