Harry Gopin, 56, of 226 Garland Street, died Tuesday afternoon at a local hospital. Born June 20, 1907 in Russia, the son of Issac and Molly Gopin, he was a livestock dealer in Bangor for many years, and a member of the Beth Abraham Synagogue. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Freda (Koffman) Gopin of Bangor; a son, Ben Gopin of Bangor; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Fishman of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two brothers, Hyman and Leo, both of Bangor; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Smith of Bangor; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Jewish Community Chapel on Center Street, with Rabbi Henry Isaacs of Beth Abraham Synagogue officiating. Interment will be in the Beth Abraham Cemetery.
