LOUIS SEGAL -- OBITUARY

 
Louis Segal, 86, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at a Bangor nursing facility. He was born June 7, 1921, in Calais, the son of Abraham and Bessie (Cohen) Segal. Louis served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He is survived by two sons, Lance Segal of Tucson, Ariz., and Philip Podberesky of Rockaway, N.Y.; a daughter, Shanna Shaw of Pullman, Wash.; two granddaughters, one grandson, three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ben Segal. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Erica May. A funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 23, at the Jewish Funeral Chapel, 118 Center St., Bangor, with Rabbi Darah R. Lerner officiating. Interment will be held immediately after the service at Beth Israel Cemetery, Bangor.
