IDA SHAPIRO -- OBITUARY

 
Mrs. Ida Shapiro, wife of Louis Shapiro, 142 York St., died Friday at a local hospital after a long illness.Born in Russia, Mrs. Shapiro was the daughter of Jacob and Gertrude Salzman. Mrs. Shapiro was a member of B’nai B’rith, the Beth Israel Synagogue and the Sisterhood. Surviving, besides her husband, are: two daughters,Mrs. Gertrude Sazin of Bangor and Mrs. Esther Kotlar of Brooklyn., N.Y.; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.
