JACOB STRIAR -- OBITUARY

 
Jacob Striar, 84 of 84 Harvard St., died Jan. 17, 1898, at a local hospital. He was born in Bangor Sept 21, 1904, the son of Hyman and Bessie Striar. He was a co-owner of the Striar Bag Co. and a member of the Congregation Beth Abraham. Surviving are one sister Rebecca (Striar) Mower of Flushing, Long Island, New York; Several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services will be held 11am Thursday at the Jewish Funeral chapel, Center Street, Bangor, with Rabbi Henry Isaacs officiating. Interment will be in Beth Abraham Cemetery. Arrangements by Brookings- Smith, Bangor.
