SIMON SMITH -- OBITUARY

 
Simon Smith, 70, of 349 Hancock St., Bangor, died Jan. 15, at a local hospital after a long illness. He was born in Russia July 14, 1901, the son of Abraham and Molly (Lieberman) Smith. He was a livestock dealer in the area for many years and a member of Beth Abraham Synagogue. He is survived by his wife, Jennie (Gopin) Smith, Bangor; two sons, Benjamin Smith, Newton Centre, Mass., and Sidney Smith Bangor; a brother,Sam Smith, Bangor; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
